Hey, guys. As you may or may not know, I help run a small convention in Milwaukee, WI. Right now we are trying to make the move from our college campus to another venue. Please help me spread the word! :]

Repost! I know that with the recent incident that was Dash Con, a lot of people are hesitant to help out smaller conventions, but at least take a look at the campaign and see what we’re about.

I helped start this convention back in 2012 with a group of my friends and we’ve slowly watched it grow together so it is very important to me. I know that there is another convention in Milwaukee around the same time, AMKE, but we are actually part of the same nonprofit so it’s not really a competition. We will also be doing two conventions this year, one in January, and one in October to make the transition to a fall convention. Nezumi Con has a low attendance fee as well to help encourage those who would not be able to attend larger/multi-day cons. We had a middle school anime club join us one year. They popped out of their school bus outside of the school. I know this is a bit ramblly, but hopefully this additional information will give you a bit more insight into what we’re trying to do.

Thanks, guys!

Also, our photographer is giving away 5 free cosplay photoshoots as one of the perks. ;D Exciting!

Dash Con

So Dash Con was fun. Because I was a vendor, I didn’t really witness any of the negative things people are saying happened so I can’t really comment. I will say though that it was amazing talking with all the attendees who stopped by and fangirling with them! I also met some pretty amazing artists (some that I was following before and some that I followed because of the con). It was also a nice transition from the smaller cons I’ve been selling at and I’m excited to get to go to some bigger ones in the future.
